Born in Enumclaw, WA and sold in an anonymous auction with an old hen and a young chick, FancyPants was taken into the wonderful world of the Klopfensteins in Scio. OR. His first day found him confronted by the barnyard bully – the Cock of the Chicken Pen and his minions of multi-colored hens. Being born a simple black-and-white banty, these surroundings were very strange, and he wasn't sure he wanted to stay. But finding his new home warm, dry, and welcoming with an unlimited supply of food and water, as well as great companions, he settled into the neighborhood.
Not letting his size stop him, he grew and grew, both in stature and in his heart. He took the name FancyPants, and today is quite the hen's man! He looks forward to many more years at the Klopfenstein's home, and truly loves cinnamon rolls!
